    If foreigner overstayed visa in China, foreigner may face below punishment, each stage more severe than previous:
    (1) Oral Warning
    (2) Penalty of RMB500-1000/day
    (3) Hold in custody
    (4) Blacklisted by Chinese government/Deport out of China.

    A1 No, if the applicant needs to renew his visa/permits both him and his legal travel document/passport must be in China.
  • Q1 Do investors and legal representatives need to apply for foreigner work permit? How to apply?
    A1 1) According to relevant regulations, foreigners who come to invest in China, legal agents of enterprises in China, who do not directly participate in the operation and management of enterprises, may not go through the work procedures in China.
    2) If a legal entity of a unit participates in the operation and management and meets the requirements of the documents, he can apply the work permit, and the age limit can be relaxed.
