Relocation Guide
From the date of the establishment of Ireatly Relocation, we are positioning ourselves as a destination company who will support our customers mobile within China. Today, we have expanded our network and services to more than 30 cities across China, among which, we have our direct offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Hefei.

People who are married to a Chinese citizen (with permanent residence in China) or to a foreigner who has obtained permanent residence in China, can apply for permanent residence in China if they meet all of the following requirements:
(1) They have been married for 5 years.
(2) They have lived in China for 5 consecutive years (staying in mainland China for no less than 9 months per year).
(3) They have stable income and accommodations in China.
(1) Complete Application Form for Permanent Residence in China and two (2) two-inch recent photos.
(2) Original and two (2) copies valid passport and valid visa (or residence permit).
(3) Original marriage certificate and two (2) copies. If this certificate was issued abroad, a verification from the Embassy/Consulate General of China is needed (validity period six months from issuance). Two (2) copies of ID used for marriage registration are also needed.
(4) Original and two (2) copies each ID card and Household Register in Shanghai for spouse with Chinese nationality, or valid passport and Permanent Resident ID Card for spouse with foreign nationality. Marriage status in the spouse's Household Register should note married or show the same English name as the valid passport. Copies of issuance page and spouse's information page from the Household Register should also be submitted.
(5) Original and one (1) copy proof of financial security or financial sources. Proof of financial security is applicant's or their spouse's Certification of Deposit in domestic banks of no less than CNY 200,000 (The freezing period must be more than 6 months after the application date), and this should be verified by a notary office. If the deposit is under the name of applicant's spouse, the declaration that the spouse is willing to guarantee security should be notarized and submitted as well. The proof of financial sources is the proof of pension of the applicant or the applicant's spouse. If it was issued abroad, verification by the Embassy/Consulate General of China is needed. If such proof is owned by the applicant's spouse, the declaration that the spouse is willing to guarantee security should be notarized and submitted. The proof and the notarization should both be issued within 6 months before the application date.
(6) Original and two (2) copies property certificate or rental contract. If the house is owned by the applicant and spouse, the house property certificate should be submitted, and the name indicated on this must match the English name on the valid passport. If the house is not owned by the applicant and spouse, the declaration that the house owner is willing to accommodate them should be notarized and submitted. If the house is jointly owned by the applicant's spouse and other people, the declaration that the joint owner is willing to accommodate them should be notarized and submitted if the joint owner is over 18 years old. A copy of a valid ID should be submitted if the joint owner is under 18 years old. Applicants who are renting a house should submit the rental contract with more than one year's renting period from the application date with notarization by a notary office. The original and one (1) copy notarization certificate should be submitted.
(7) Original and one (1) copy health check certificate which was issued by a domestic entry-exit inspection and quarantine agency (or by foreign medical institutions verified by Embassy /Consulate General of China). Only health certificates issued within six (6) months are considered valid.
(8) Original and one (1) copy criminal record/background check showing no trace or history of any kind must be verified by the Embassy/Consulate General of China. The name on the non-criminal record must match that on the valid passport. In case the applicant has changed names, the former names should be noted in the record. In case the applicant has lived in a country/region outside the passport-issuing country for two years or longer after he/she is 18 years old, a non-criminal record from that country/region is also needed. Only record(s) issued within the last six months are considered valid.
Processing time: Applications will be resolved in 180 working days from the day all materials are submitted. (Time for investigation is excluded if some items need to be investigated by the Public Security Bureau).
