Relocation Guide
From the date of the establishment of Ireatly Relocation, we are positioning ourselves as a destination company who will support our customers mobile within China. Today, we have expanded our network and services to more than 30 cities across China, among which, we have our direct offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Hefei.

Overseas Chinese who have Ph.D. degrees and currently work in Shanghai can apply for permanent residence in China.
The foreign spouse and unmarried children under 18 years old of the above applicants can apply for permanent residence together.
(1)Complete Application Form for Permanent Residence in China and two (2) two-inch recent photos.
(2)Original and two (2) copies valid passport and valid visa (or residence permit).
(3)Original and two (2) copies certificate showing that the applicant is of ethnic Chinese origin. This certificate can be the applicant’s previous Chinese passport, ID card, Household Register (or deregistration certificate), or Overseas Chinese Certificate issued by Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government.
(4)Original and two (2) copies Ph.D. Degree diploma and the Authentication Certificate. If the diploma was issued by a domestic educational institution, then China Higher-education Verification Report (via China Higher-education student information website, or Shanghai Student Affairs Center) also must be provided. If the diploma was issued by an overseas educational institution, then authentication issued by Embassy/Consulate General of China, or foreign academic degree verification issued by Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) (via Overseas Academic Degree Accreditation System by Education Ministry) must also be provided.
(5)Original and two (2) copy valid Working Permit (or Employment Permit, Foreign Expert Certificate).
(6)Original and one (1) copy Employment certificate issued by the employer.
(7)Original and two (2) copies) Employer's Business License (counterpart) or relevant registration certificate, its most recent online annual report, Certificate of Approval for Establishment of Enterprises with foreign investment or Receipt for the Establishment of Enterprises with foreign investment or the most recent Receipt for Change of Enterprises with foreign investment and its online joint annual report (not required for domestic companies).
(8)Original and one (1) copy health check certificate issued by a domestic entry-exit inspection and quarantine agency (or by foreign medical institutions verified by Embassy /Consulate General of China). Only health certificates issued within six (6) months considered valid.
(9)Original and one (1) copy criminal record/background check showing no trace or history of any kind must be verified by the Embassy/Consulate General of China. The name on the non-criminal record must match that on the valid passport. In case the applicant has changed names, the former names should be noted in the record. In case the applicant has lived in a country/region outside the passport-issuing country for two years or longer after he/she is 18 years old, a non-criminal record from that country/region is also needed. Only record(s) issued within the last six months are valid.
(1)Complete Application Form for Permanent Residence in China and two (2) two-inch recent photos.
(2)Original and two (2) copies each valid passport and valid visa (or residence permit).
(3)Original and two (2) copies Marriage Certificate. If this certificate was issued abroad, a verification from the Embassy/Consulate General of China is needed (validity six months from issuance). Two (2) copies of the ID used for marriage registration are also needed.
(4)Original and one (1) copy health check certificate issued by a domestic entry-exit inspection and quarantine agency (or by foreign medical institutions verified by Embassy /Consulate General of China). Only health certificates issued within six (6) months considered valid.
(5)Original and one (1) copy criminal record/background check showing no trace or history of any kind must be verified by the Embassy/Consulate General of China. The name on the non-criminal record must match that on the valid passport. In case the applicant has changed names, the former names should be noted in the record. In case the applicant has lived in a country/region outside the passport-issuing country for two years or longer after he/she is 18 years old, a non-criminal record from that country/region is also needed. (3)Original and two (2) copies of birth certificate (or parent-children relationship certificate, or adoption proof). If the certificate or proof was issued abroad, then verification by the Embassy/Consulate General of China is needed.
(4)Original ID and two (2) copies of both parents.
(5)Original and two (2) copies marriage certificate (in case the parents have divorced, the principal applicant should supply valid proof of guardianship, such as a court verdict, etc.). If the certificate was issued abroad, then verification by the Embassy/Consulate General of China is needed.
(6)If both or one parents were Chinese citizens when the child was born, they must first go through the procedures of nationality certification.
Processing time: Applications will be resolved in 180 working days from the day all materials are submitted. (Time for investigation is excluded if some items need to be investigated by the Public Security Bureau).
